Dennis Haskins has a wide variety of film, television, and stage credits. He is currently seen in a recurring guest star role on “Men of a Certain Age”, and has guest starred on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, and co-starred with Lou Diamond Phillips in the TBS Movie of the Week “Red Water”. Other roles include “The West Wing”, “7th Heaven”, and “The Practice” along with many other shows. He also filmed starring roles in National Lampoon’s “Ratko - The Dictator’s Son” and in “Ocean of Pearls”. There are also two Internet web series starring Dennis, Acting School Academy and Private High Musical.
Dennis is best known for his portrayal of the beloved ‘Mr. Belding’ on “Saved by the Bell” for it’s entire 11 year run on NBC’s Saturday morning lineup. Haskins, dubbed “everyone’s favorite principal” by ESPN’s Todd Wright, developed ‘Mr. B’ into a part of American teen culture. Still in syndication, at it’s peak the show went to over 87 countries!
Haskins has taken his “Mr. Belding on Campus” show to colleges across the U. S. and Canada playing to tens of thousands of college students. He also makes many charity appearances and has participated in two USO tours visiting our troops.
He has flown with The Blue Angels!
Haskins was honored with The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Most Distinguished Alumni of 2000 award and has a regional high school academic decathlon name after him, The Dennis Haskins Open, now in its eleventh year.
